Though the first trailer of the film clearly shouts out at the detractors for taking digs at the Sardar community, Ajay Devgn's next production 'Son Of Sardar' has been slammed with a legal notice for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of Sikhs.

After watching the official trailer online, Senior Lawyer Navkiran Singh decided to slam a case against the makers of 'Son of Sardaar' as he felt that the film takes a dig at Sikhs, hurting their religious sentiments. 

The particular dialogue, " Je Sardar na hote toh joke kis pe banate" (see trailer) has rubbed them the wrong way and has hurt their sentiments, says the notice. 

Through the notice, senior lawyer Navkiran has urged producer/actor Ajay to delete such defamatory dialogues from the film or else strict action will be taken against them.
