Looks like Uthara Unni's Kollywood and Mollywood debut will happen simultaneously.
The actress will step into the Malayalam film industry with director Lenin Rajendran's 'Edavapathy', and in Kollywood with director A. Venkatesh's 'Enakku Vaytha Nanbargal Ippadi'.
Uthara, who's now shooting for both the flicks hand in hand, says it's fun trodding from one industry to the other.
"While 'Edavapathy' requires me to give subtle expressions, the same won't work in the Tamil flick, which is an out and out commercial potboiler," says Uthara, who essays a double role in 'Edavapathy'.
"It has me playing a modern girl who falls in love with a Buddhist monk and relates herself to the historical character Vasavadatta. 'Enakku' will see me as a college goer paired opposite actor Tejus. The film is directed by A. Venkatesh, who plays the villain in 'Angaditheru'," added the excited actress.
'Edavapathy' also stars Manisha Koirala and Siddharth Lama of 'Yodha' fame.
