After delivering superhits like 'Subramaniapuram' and 'Nadodigal', Sasi kumar and Samuthirakani have once again joined hands for the film, 'Porali'.

With Samuthirakani providing his usual brand of blockbuster music and Sasi kumar playing the lead role, the shooting of 'Porali' is slated to commence soon. Anjali will be sharing screen-space with Sasi Kumar. Anjali has amassed a huge fan-base for her performances in 'Katradhu Tamil' and 'Thoonga Nagaram', and it is expected that 'Porali' will add to her scope in performance.

'Porali,' set in Chennai, traces the life of a rebel who challenges society, and the consequences he faces because of his defiant attitude. Sasi Kumar, who plays the lead, is also the producer of the film. The actor-producer said that he had written the story almost two years ago.
