(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Scarlett Johansson celebrated Independence Day weekend at an exclusive party accompanied by a rock star.

This was the actress' first July 4 holiday since her divorce from Ryan Reynolds, and she marked the day in style.

Scarlett and her musician friend Pete Yorn were among the guests at diplomat Clifford Sobel's son's party, held in East Hampton, New York. Sobel used to be the United States Ambassador to Brazil, and his son Scott and his wife held the bash at his sprawling country home on Sunday.

Also in attendance were Cameron Diaz and her baseball star beau Alex A-Rod' Rodriguez.

"Yorn, who recorded an album with Johansson a few years ago, performed three songs at the party thrown by Sobel's son, Scott, and wife, Lori, for 200 guests. Also there were Pete's brothers Kevin Yorn, a top entertainment lawyer who represents Johansson, and Rick Yorn," reports New York Post.

Scarlett's ex-boyfriend Sean Penn has also been seen out and about over the holiday weekend. He was spotted strolling hand-in-hand with a pretty brunette lady in Los Angeles following an Independence Day party. (C) Cover Media
