SCIENTIFIC WAY OF TEACHING MUSIC
4th April 2011
The top ranking music director of yesteryears, Rajan of Rajan-Nagendra duo of over 400 films, has come up with a notations book and evolved a scientific way of teaching music.
What is this scientific way of teaching? Through the help of software, an individual music learning music, is given the precise data on the voice variations and improvement needed to check the wrong flow of voice. With demonstration, the music students are taught this aspect via the scale of their voice.
According to Rajan, the singer has to undergo three intermediate courses and he is taught the knack of writing his own Swaras. This is very useful for future generations. Having a good voice is a gift. There are so many older singers but they do not have the voice culture.
Besides, this the new 'Scientific Playback Singing' system would teach them to know the quality and strength of music. The singer's voice test would also get expert opinion as to what style they have to maintain. It is possible to develop and bring in some extra glory to the voices from this system, says Rajan, of the famous duo Rajan-Nagendra.
Getting a mentor in music is very essential. The people interested in music have got one such 'Guru'. Sri Veena Vani Music School situated in Banashanker II stage headed by Girish Kumar is conducting this 'Scientific Playback Singing course.
