(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Selma Blair thinks her son "looks like a turtle".

Selma welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, fashion designer Jason Bleick, in July. Selma is elated with parenthood and enjoys spending time with son Arthur Saint.

"He looks like a little turtle," Selma told Us Weekly at Beckley by Melissa launch party in Los Angeles last week.

"He's an amazing baby. We're so in love, as I imagine most parents are."

Although her son brings Selma much joy, the actress admits that first time motherhood is challenging. The actress is considering seeking additional assistance.

"I may hire someone [to help]," Selma explained. "There's no going it alone anymore at night. But Arthur's amazing. He's a joy and he's so settled. He's a happy baby."

It is also difficult for her and partner Blair to spend time together. She and Blair fit romantic nights in whenever they can.

"[We have to] schedule date nights," Selma said.

"My friend watched the baby Friday and tonight's a date night. So it's a big deal. They're few and far between, but we appreciate them." (C) Cover Media
