As if Box office collections and film's success ratio weren't the sufficient platforms for Bollywood stars to compete, film promotions too have added to the list of the battle grounds.

Today every other star is coming up with an unique promotional strategy to promote their respective films, and hence Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are no different. 

Shahid and Priyanka who are gearing up to promote their forthcoming film 'Teri Meri Kahaani' plan to host a Qawwali session in Delhi soon. 

Apart from that, they will also host sessions for stand up comedians who will battle it out to enthrall the audience for the promotions. This promotion plan is in sync with the film's theme, as the film deals with the era of love in different time periods. It also has an additional dose of Urdu poems and qawaalis woven into the story narration. And hence reminding people of the lost era is the key to their promotions.

The idea came into the minds of the team as the shayaris in the theatricals of the film had got a great response from the audience and hence coming up with a full fledged promotional tour dedicated to Urdu poems and qawwalis was the next big thing to do.
