With 'Yeh Jawani hai Deewani' becoming one of the biggest hits in Bollywood, no actor would dare to release their movie with any Karan Johar film for sure. Especially, if the actor is Shahid Kapoor who has not had a single hit in the longest time.
Shahid starrer 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero' is set to release on 20th of September and Karan Johar has announced the release of his forthcoming project 'Ungli' on the same date too.
Tension had prevailed between the two ever since Shahid refused to do 'I Hate Luv Storys' and Karan was not very happy hearing a 'No'.
There were also reports that Punit Malhotra was keen on casting Shahid for his next 'Gori Teri Pyaar Mein', but leading lady Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar both were against the thought of having him on board; hence Punit had to replace him with Imran Khan.
However, Shahid for once decided to extend the olive branch and went down to meet Karan at his Dharma office, it took a lot of convincing from him. after which Johar finally agreed to reschedule the release date of 'Ungli'.
An emotional Karan admitted to the meeting and said that he plays by his dad's principles of being there for each other in the film fraternity.
Shahid can finally jump out of the 'poster' with all the excitement as Karan has rescheduled the dates for his movie and is no mood to tease him by showing the 'Ungli'.
