Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are the newest pair in B'town who will debut with Pankaj Kapoor's film 'Mausam'. It was already reported that the Debut Director and Shahid Kapoor's dad, Pankaj Kapoor, was miffed with Sonam's continuous breaks during the making of the film. Sometimes due to ill-health and sometimes on account of her busy schedule, she had often stalled the shooting of the film.

This was the reason that her co-star Shahid too, was not very cordial with her and both were reportedly at loggerheads throughout the shooting of the film. But when Sonam went out of her way to complete a rain song, in spite of her ill-health, Shahid had let bygones be bygones. Later the two bonded like a house on fire, Shahid even helped Sonam bridge the gap between her and his dad. Now, Sonam Kapoor is smitten by Shahid so much, that she has tagged her former foe a great co-star.

Sonam felt that Shahid is a great actor and a better co-star and it has been her pleasure working with him. Well, as they, as all's well that ends well.
