Shia LaBeouf involved in street brawl'

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Shia LaBeouf was allegedly involved in a street brawl over the weekend.

The 25-year-old Transformers star got into three fights in Vancouver, Canada, and appeared visibly drunk, RadarOnline are reporting.

Shia apparently was partying by himself on the Granville Street nightclub strip in the early hours of Friday morning when he became part of a few altercations.

"He got into a confrontation with a couple of people," an eyewitness told the site. "He took a few punches to the face. He was obviously pretty intoxicated."

The bystander said that Shia had to be pulled away from a patron of the bar by a security guard when the pair got into a fight inside the Cinema Public House around 12.30am.

He apparently exchanged some heated words with the man before security threw them both out.

But once they got outside the patron, said to be called Mike, saw Shia waiting for a taxi and ripped off his shirt and started to assault the Hollywood star.

Shia got hit to the ground and received at least three punches to his head before bystanders came to help but the actor once again got upset and had to be held back.

"The guy had to tell him something like, Calm down or I'll have to lay you out.' Then Shia just put his hands up and gave up," the witness said.

Shia was seen later in the weekend going for a coffee with grazes and swelling to the left side of his face.

The actor has been in trouble before. He was handcuffed but subsequently released earlier this year after a fight at a bar in Sherman Oaks, California.

He also was arrested back in 2007 for DUI and was arrested in 2008 for being intoxicated at a drug store in Chicago and was charged with misdemeanour criminal trespassing. (C) Cover Media
