Shilpa Shetty has always taken pride in her Indian Premiere League (IPL) team, the Rajasthan Royals (RR), but she was in a shock to know that the Delhi Police Special Cell arrested cricketers S. Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila on charges of spot-fixing.

Sources add that the bookies named as Jupitor, Bunti and Kothari, who are also under police scanner, belong to D-gang. The fixing was being managed from Dubai and has connections with Karachi to Ahmedabad, a source in the cell shared.

Reacting to the news, Shilpa expressed, "We at Rajasthan Royals are in shock with this news, coming to terms with it. Will react once we have more information and concrete evidence."

She further added, "We are in touch with the BCCI on this matter. We will fully co-operate with the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation. The management at Rajasthan Royals has a zero-tolerance approach to anything that is against the spirit of the game."
