The shooting of Shirdi Sai, a film on Bhagawan Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi, starring Nagarjuna in the lead role, is taking shape fast. Some important portions of the film are currently being shot in Kulu Manali.

Directed by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by A Mahesh Reddy, under Sai Krupa Entertainments banner, the movie revolves around some critical stages of Sai Baba's presence in Shirdi and the miracles performed by Him.

The story is written by Bhaktha Suresh Kumar and Paruchuri Brothers are taking care of the dialogues. M M Keeravani has composed music for this film, whose first schedule is over recently.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna, who earlier had a brief stint in political arena thanks to his campaign against corruption, recently chose to clear the air of suspense about the issue, saying that he would never enter politics.
