(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Simon Cowell was more interested in a dog than his co-star's new baby.

The music mogul appears on the judging panel of Britain's Got Talent alongside Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.

Amanda recently gave birth to daughter Hollie, and joked Simon didn't get at all broody when he saw her.

"Oh yeah, he's even changed a couple of nappies," Amanda laughed in the UK edition of OK! magazine. "No, he has been very sweet. He's been more interested in my new dog if I'm being honest."

Simon is famed for his Mr Nasty' approach to judging contestants on a range of reality TV shows, including The X Factor and American Idol.

Amanda says the star's no-nonsense character is not gratuitous.

"I don't think he's ruthless. I think it's good because what Simon did [on Britain's Got Talent] this year was give the show a good kick up the a**e which is what it needed," she said. (C) Cover Media
