(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Simon Pegg says you can't take criticism personally while on a film set.

The British actor and director is best known for his starring roles in Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and the 2009 Star Trek film.

The 41-year-old star's major work has been in collaboration with Nick Frost. The pair co-wrote and starred in the recent science fiction comedy film Paul, and Simon says there were often disagreements on set.

The funny man has admitted however that he never took any arguments to heart.

"You can't take it personally. That's the trouble it's very easy to," he explained in an interview with SciFi Now. "If you have a couple of ideas knocked back it's very easy to feel quite victimised, but, you know."

Nick agrees with the notion that there will always be creative differences when making a film. The 39-year-old star says little disagreements should be put aside so the bigger picture can always be seen.

"You know, I think when you're trying to write a film or TV show, two people coming together trying to create something, there will always be a difference of opinion and it's never about you personally, it's about the good of the project," he mused. "It's quite difficult sometimes when you have what you think are great ideas knocked back first thing in the morning, and you know there will be words at some point." (C) Cover Media
