(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Monica Bellucci bonded with Robert De Niro on set of their new film Ages of Love.

The pair star in the drama, which sees Robert De Niro's character heading to Italy following his divorce. However, he soon meets up with a beautiful Italian woman, played by Monica. One scene sees the Raging Bull star perform a striptease for Monica. And the actress was delighted that she bonded with one of her favourite actors.

"It is true that we had a lot of fun and when you see the movie, you can tell that there is some chemistry between us because it really helps the film," she told a French TV show. "Working with De Niro is good because when you have someone that make you feel at ease, who is very modest, very respectful it's easy."

While Monica's actor husband Vincent Cassel has spoken out about his jealously in the past, Monica insisted that the only envy he felt about her co-star was that he wasn't working with him.

"But [Vincent and I] know the rules of the acting game: if you had to banish the alchemy which happens between two actors, it would be fair to say that it's better to change your job," she added in a recent interview. (C) Cover Media
