(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have proven their split is amicable by spending Valentines Day together.

The music stars caused shockwaves throughout the world of showbiz last week when they announced via a representative that they were calling time on their marriage.

Ashlee and Pete tied the knot in May 2008 and have a two-year-old son together called Bronx, and it is thought the pair want to keep the split as amicable as possible for the little boys sake. The former couple even spent yesterday together despite its romantic connotations.

"They had lunch together today with Bronx at the Beverly Hills Hotel," a source told People.

"They just had a meal together with their son. They're both focused on making this transition as easy as possible for him."

Both Ashlee and Pete dressed casually for the rendezvous, keeping their faces hidden with large sunglasses.

In other celebrity Valentines Day news, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was reported to have been planning a reunion with former girlfriend Samantha Ronson yesterday night.

The pair ended their romance in 2009, and it is thought their February 14 meeting would be purely platonic.

According to website TMZ, the former lovers planned to join a group of pals for dinner in Brentwood, Los Angeles, to mark the birthday of Lindsays entertainment manager.

"At the moment Lindsay and Samantha are just friends ... nothing more ... nothing less," explained a source. (C) Cover Media
