One of the most famous playback singer of Bollywood, Benny Dayal tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Catherine Thangam on June 5, 2016. It was a hush hush ceremony which took place at the duos residence.

Bollywood singer-composer Vishal Dadlani confirmed the news by congratulating the couple. He posted a photo with the newly weds and captioned the image as, "You guys are beautiful, @Benny_Dayal and @catherinethangam ! Much love and joy, always! :)."

Benny is seen wearing a traditional white kurta while the bride is seen in a nude coloured embellished saree on their big day. The wedding took place in both Hindu and Christian rituals. According to sources, Benny met Catherine through a common friend.

Catherine, a New York based, has performed on several prestigious stages for a variety of artists and events in the New York City and New Jersey Area. She has trained in classical Indian dance since the age of eleven.

Mika Singh also wished the couple through twitter. He said, "Congrats bro @Benny_Dayal and dear @Catherinethangam wishing you both a happy married life :)."
