December 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Actor Karthis success graph reached the pinnacle during this year as his films Aayirathil Oruvan, Paiyaa and Naan Mahaan All turned to be blockbusters. The actor commenced his shooting for Siruthai before few months and has completed the filming schedules within a short span of time. The film is directed by Shiva and is produced by K.E. Gnyanavel Rajan under the banner of Studio Green Productions.

As known earlier, the film is a remake of yesteryear Tollywood blockbuster 'Vikramakudu' starring Ravi Teja in dual roles with hottie Anushka in female lead character. Karthi takes up the dual role of a petty thief and an honest cop. Following the grand success of Paiyaa, Karthi and Thamannah have paired up together in this movie.

Recently, a stunt sequence involving Karthi and 19 stuntmen was shot herein Chennai. Ganesh choreographed an unique action sequence where Karthi bashes down 19 goons at a single shot. To accomplish with this risky stunt, Karthi and others rehearsed it nearly for 4 hours. Vel Raj has handled choreography and has used some creative angles.

Sources close to them have revealed that the films shooting will be completed by next week and the audio launch will be held by end of December. Plans are there to release the film by end of January.
