Filmmaker SJ Suryah holds a fantastic track record of wielding megaphone for the best actors in town like Vijay and Ajith Kumar. But soon as he stepped into the shoes of actor, the results were completely adverse and he couldn't gain appreciations. Recently he made his comeback as a director for Telugu movie 'Puli' starring Pawan Kalyan in lead role. Unfortunately, the film didn't work out at its best and now this has urged him to make his way back to Tamil film industry. The filmmaker-turned-actor is spending his time lonely in Kodaikanal writing script and will soon finalize the actors and technicians. It is worth mentioning that Suryah plays a cameo role in Shankar's 'Nanban', in which he enacts the role that was performed by Javed Jaffrey.
