Sofia Vergara is said to have invited "90 people" to her destination birthday celebrations in Mexico.

The actress turns 40 on Tuesday but she has been living it up the whole weekend at Rosewood Mayakoba resort on the Riviera Maya.

Us Weekly reports that the Modern Family star did not scrimp on commemorating her milestone.

"She literally has about 90 people with her," an insider told the publication. "Her entire family came out to celebrate, even those living in Columbia."

"Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sarah Hyland and [her son] Manolo are all there with their significant others. Everyone is having a blast."

Sofia's on-again, off-again boyfriend of two years Nick Loeb is also in attendance. They had split in May but then got back together a few weeks later.

"All of the family has actually been really cordial to Nick," the insider said despite the couple's recent rough patch.

"Sofia and Nick have been staying in the ultra luxe Presidential Suite it has its own private pool."

In lieu of presents, Sofia is asking her loved ones and fans to donate to her charity, Dreams Without Borders to help orphans in her hometown.
