Sonakshi happy to do fun films

29th November 2012

Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha made a thundering debut in the Hindi film industry with the film 'Dabangg'. Since then, there has been no looking back for her. She has worked with some of the biggest stars under the biggest banners of Bollywood. And now, Sonakshi is happy doing commercial pot boilers and is extremely content with the films she has in hands.

While other actresses are lining up to do woman-centric films, Sonakshi says that currently, it's not her cup of tea. She cites that actresses like Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor, who have done woman-centric roles in their respective films, have been in the industry for a long time. They have dared to do the unconventional, but when it comes to her she wants to play the safe game as of now.

"I'm not really looking forward to a completely woman-centric, author-backed role. It's a fairly recent trend and whoever is doing it has been in the industry for at least eight to ten years. I'm new in the industry and I would like to continue doing fun films with big banners with the biggest stars," stated Sonakshi whose last film 'Son of Sardaar' did well at the box office.

Next, she will be seen opposite Salman Khan in 'Dabangg 2' as well as opposite Imran Khan and Akshay Kumar in Milan Luthria's 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2'.
