The fashion journey of the Kapoor sisters is globally discussed, locally inspired and homegrown in the truest sense. Therefore, it came as no surprise that the sisters decided to build a high street fashion brand 'Rheson' that embodies their style sensibilities.

The brand which is already a major retail hit, received their very first award from PETA, acknowledging their passion for cruelty-free fashion. The duo's label was awarded the Compassionate Business Award by PETA for being morally conscious and not using leather in their handbags.

 When contacted said Rhea Kapoor, "This has come as a pleasant surprise. We are thankful for the recognition."

Sister Sonam Kapoor, who was named Hottest Vegetarian in 2016 by PETA has strongly promoted the cause and even wrote a letter to the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, urging him to not revoke the ban on classroom dissection for university life-science and zoology students. In 2014, she attended a charitable art exhibition organised by the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, and donated clothing and accessories to a website raising funds for in Defense of Animals.
