International Women's Day which was celebrated on March 8, bought to light many aspects of a woman. Bollywood is one such fraternity where women are working shoulder to shoulder with men. While many went to share their views on the women of today's generation, leading actress and fashionista Sonam Kapoor had her own take on the issue.

In her recent blogpost she mentioned about the time when feminism received due respect in context of what work a woman does in her house and her office. She is thankful for those days, but as time passes views and opinions tend to change.

She further explains that Feminism is not just a word to respect or a fad or talking every time about equal rights. It is a belief that needs to be believed.

She also gives examples of famous Hollywood actresses who have successfully empowered and inspired today's women while urging us to accept the same here. She explains the stronger side of women by saying a woman cannot be anyone's enemy, she doesn't need any support system and while she face a lot of discrimination, body-shaming and labelling her position is still stronger.
