Even before his big Bollywood debut, Bollywood veteran Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj Pancholi hogged headlines for an ugly controversy that he unfortunately got involved in. 

Sooraj who dated late actress Jiah Khan was dragged into her suicide case by the actress's mother. 

It has been almost a year that the controversy has been going on and Sooraj has been compelled to go to court for all proceedings. But that, his father claims has not affected his Bollywood dreams. 

Aditya confirmed that his son's first film is almost complete and he will be successfully making his debut in January 2015. 

"The film is almost complete. Only a song needs to be shot. The makers are planning to release it in January 2015," said Aditya who has stood by his son in his difficult times.

Sooraj makes his debut with the remake of Subhash Ghai's 'Hero' (1983) which is being produced by Salman Khan. It also marks the debut of Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty who is paired opposite Sooraj in the film.
