The makers of 'Soorma' unleashed its Anthem track and we are left thinking deep about the true struggle Indian Hockey skipper Sandeep Singh went through, and his deliberate comeback leaves us mesmerized. It is Diljit Dosanjh aka Sandeep taking taunts of the society on being parallel and not opting out for the international tournament.

Diljit plays an emotional sportsman quite eager for his comeback in the National Team and his slow recovery and the post-training stages are portrayed exceptionally well. It even showcases his fondness for Taapsee Pannu, whereas Angad Bedi plays a major role of his elder brother who trains him hard to prep up to get a spot in India's National Hockey team. The meticulous melancholy composition of Shankar Ehsaan Loy has given this number a classical touch. Whereas Shankar Mahadevan's magical voice has done magic by involving us in this song beautifully. The lyrics of this soul-soothing number have been penned by none other than Gulzar.

The video features glimpses from the earlier released trailer showing Sandeep Singh's struggle, pain and the urge of rising above all the hurdles. Helmed by Shaad Ali, Soorma stars Diljit Dosanjh as Sandeep Singh, Tapsee Pannu as Harpreet and Angad Bedi as Bikramjeet Singh.

Bankrolled by Sony Pictures the film is slated to release on July 13, 2018.
