'Hawa Hawaai' Sridevi started her career as a child artist both in the Hindi and South Indian film industry. She ruled both the industries for almost a decade now. She was on a long sabbatical for couple of years but made her comeback with the film 'English Vinglish' in the year 2012.
Well the actress will now be honoured with Outstanding Achievement Award IIFA 2016, for her remarkable contribution to the Indian Cinema. The 17th IIFA ceremony will take place between June 23 to June 26 in Madrid, Spain.
Known as the first female superstar of India, Sridevi's most memorable Bollywood films include 'Sadma', 'Tohfa', 'Chaalbaaz', 'Mr. India', 'Chandni', 'Lamhe', 'Laadla', 'Judaai' and several others.
The actress is currently prepping up for her next film 'Mom' starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a cameo and produced by her husband Boney Kapoor.
