When Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan goes on stage, he takes the world by storm. He is one of those stars who has performed live before zillions of fans both on national and international grounds.

His mere presence on stage adds to the aura of the ambience and grips the audience who get lost in a form of trance that his performances emit. Hence, when a star of his calibre claims that he once feared the very stage that he rules today, comes out as a shock.

No matter how shocking it sounds, SRK assures that it is one part of his past. He recently confessed that in his days as a teenager, he had stage fear and was unable to perform on stage.

But he also recollects and reveals that performing at traditional and cultural shows helped him overcome his fear. He stated that he lost his stage fright when he participated in a Ramlila in Delhi.

"I was cast as a monkey with a long tail. It was a good start for me and a great platform to showcase my talent. I would mimic Prithviraj Kapoor and even do shayaris. That's how I lost the fear of crowd. It gave me a lot of confidence, performing live in front of thousands of people," he said.
