The premiere of much awaited release 'Mausam' at IMAX Wadala just sizzled through the night on Thursday 22nd September as all the Bollywood colleagues of Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor made it a point to be present at the event.
From fashion divas to class directors and heartthrobs of the industry, all were just in time to attend the premiere of Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut, Mausam. All the Glamour and glitterati walked the red carpet on Thursday to watch Mausam on the Kapoor (Pankaj and Shahid) father and son duo’s invitation.
Few of the early arrivers were directors Abhinav Kashyap, Abbas Mastan, veteran actress Shabana Azmi and Shahid Kapoor’s mother Neelima Azmi. Then arrived the leading lady of Mausam, Sonam Kapoor with her sister Reah and father Anil Kapoor. Then it was time for the surprise entry for the evening, Tabu who walked her way to the premiere wearing a blue and green asymmetrical outfit.
Actor Hrithik Roshan, accompanied by his wife Sussane was greeted by the loudest roar during the event. Then followed the man of the evening, Pankaj Kapoor who walked the carpet with his wife Supriya Pathak and their kids making the best picture of the evening for the shutterbugs. Next to arrive was the hero of the film, Shahid Kapoor who had played an ideal host, strolling the red carpet a couple of times to escort some his extremely special guests.
Most of the well known directors Vishal Bahradwaj, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Sudhir Mishra, Rohan Sippy, Kunal Kohli, Aayan Mukherjee, Nikhil Advani, Sanjay Gupta and Puneet Malhotra joined the guest list by late evening. Lyricist Javed Akhtar, Music composer Pritam, Sanjay Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha entered with her mother Poonam, Bipasha Basu, Genelia D’Souza, Kagna Ranaut joined in later. Aayesha Takia with her hubby sporting black for the grand night, Vivek Oberoi accompanied by his wife Priyanka, Rani Mukherjee accompanied by choreographer Vaibhavi Mercahnt and Aftab Shivdasani were few of the late arrivers spotted in best of their fashionable outfits.
