"It was the excitement of being considered of doing something new and challenging that made me say yes to Naan Ee," says Sudeep who is debuting in Kollywood with S.S.Rajmouli’s 'Naan Ee'. 

The famous Sandalwood actor says that he is thrilled to appear in the tamil film industry, not only for the novelty but also for the unique genre of Naan Ee. Stepping out of Kannada movies and trying something new was challenging for Sudeep, "I think the credit goes to Ram Gopal Varma. It was he who gave me Rann, the film that got me this film” he said further.

Starring Sudeep, Samantha and Nani, Naan Ee is a Tamil-Telgu bilingual socio-fantasy film, written and directed by S.S.Rajamouli. The Tamil version of the film will be dubbed in Malayalam named, 'Eecha'. The film is expected to release in July 2012.
