Just a few days back, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen was seen walking the ramp for her friend designer Mandira Wirk at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour. The collection consisted of bridal wear and Sush was seen in a beautiful fairy-tale gown.

While she was interviewed on her experience of looking like a bride, Sen stated that she would love to get married the Christian way and may be next year (read news).

Apparently, this one statement made by the actress has left the media spilling rumors stating the actress is all set to walk down the aisle next year.

Rubbishing all of it, here is what Sush said regarding the same, "This news about my marriage plans is completely untrue. I was at a press meet for my designer friend Mandira Wirk's bridal wear, dressed as a bride. All I said was, 'I will definitely get married, who knows maybe next year.' That was it."

While everyone was eager to know if she is anxious to settle down or not, the single mom said, "Marriage will happen when it has to happen. I've craved for it forever. I've always been a home-lover, in spite of living a very public life, which I enjoy in my own way."

The actress who has adopted two daughters has clearly stated that she wants someone who can take care of her angels and be a great father. He needs to accept that, for Sush her children will always be top priority in her life.

Confirming the same, Sushmita adds, "What guarantee is there that after getting into marriage and after twenty years of togetherness, I won't discover it was the wrong move for me? God bless Madhuri Dixit's equation with her husband. I saw a picture of her and husband with their two sons. And my heart melted. Blissful relationships are still possible in today's world."

Seems like the former Miss Universe is in no hurry to tie the knot anytime soon.
