November 1, 2012 was indeed a very special day for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The actress who not only celebrated her birthday but was also honoured by France with a prestigious civilian award for her contribution to cinema, she was overwhelmed as it was one of the best gifts she received.

Her entire family including husband Abhishek Bachchan, father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and her parents were present at the event.

But the best part was that everyone finally got to see baby Aaradhya Bachchan. The actress's daughter who was also present at the ceremony was carried everywhere by Ash who was facing the media and camera.

Pretty in pink, Aaradhya was looking adorable wearing a white and pink dress with a cute hair accessory.

Earlier, Ash made sure that her baby was wrapped in all soughts of clothing so that the media wouldn't get any glimpse of her. Guess the actress is finally shedding the role of an over protective mom.
