Tamara Ecclestone's mortifying bird fear

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tamara Ecclestone has recalled an embarrassing incident in a restaurant involving her bird phobia.

The 28-year-old socialite is the daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone. Tamara may appear to be a confident individual, but has confessed she loses her senses when she is confronted with a winged animal.

"I have a phobia of birds. Once, in Hawaii, a bird landed on the table at lunch and I jumped up and tipped the table upside down in front of the whole restaurant. So embarrassing!" Tamara told the UK magazine Grazia.

Tamara is known for her love of shopping and impressive wardrobe of designer clothes. However, the glamorous brunette insists she is happiest at home wearing comfortable clothes and watching a soccer game.

"Watching the Euro 2012 final with [ex-partner] Omar," she replied, when asked the last time she felt truly happy. "We were eating a Chinese takeaway and chocolate fudge cake. It was so nice to watch it at home in my pyjamas in complete comfort, surrounded by food."

Tamara supports London-based soccer team Chelsea Football Club and admits she is a "sore loser" when it comes to watching them play. (C) Cover Media
