(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tara Reid must register her wedding in Greece before it's recognised in America.

The 35-year-old actress stunned the showbiz world by announcing she had got engaged and married in the same day over the weekend. While it was initially believed she had tied the knot with Michael Lillelund, she later explained her new husband is a man called Zack Kehayov.

It has now been reported Tara will have to register the nuptials with the Vital Statistics Office in the city where she tied the knot. This must be done within 40 days or the union won't be recognised in the US.

"Marriages of American citizens in Greece are not registered at the Embassy, but instead at the Vital Statistics Office (Lixiarhio) of the city where performed," reports RadarOnline. "This applies to all marriages, whether civil or religious, and must be done within 40 days following the ceremony.

"Marriages can be registered by either spouse, or by a third party. Marriages that are not registered have no legal validity."

Tara has revealed she "loves being a wife" and has been posting photos of her impressive engagement ring and wedding band on her Twitter page.

Tara is believed to have only recently ended her relationship with Michael, a Danish businessman. The star was previously engaged to Internet entrepreneur Michael Axtmann but called off their nuptials last year. (C) Cover Media
