The 17-year-old is best known for her role in US television show Gossip Girl and is currently carving out a music career as lead singer with rock band The Pretty Reckless. She is renowned for being outspoken, often giving her views about sex and smoking in interviews.

The star is also renowned for her gothic appearance, favouring dark clothing, ripped tights and skyscraper heels. Her appearance and views mean there have been many rumours spread about the young star, and she is keen to clear some of them up.

The star then began discussing her school life, explaining she was taught at a Catholic establishment. It had a lasting effect on her, and she believes her early experiences in the classroom have shaped her.
