(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Swift is planning to throw a winter-themed party for her 21st birthday.

The star is keen to celebrate reaching the landmark age in style and is looking forward to inviting her closest friends and family to a spectacular bash. Taylor turns 21 on December 13 and she is keen to indulge her love of winter when she hosts her party.

"The plans for the 21st birthday probably are going to be winter-themed," she revealed to MTV News. "I love winter. I love Christmas, and my birthday is December 13."

Taylor has always loved the winter season, ever since she was a child. The blonde singer had several Christmas-themed birthday parties when she was growing up and this made her special day even more magical.

This year Taylor is hoping to retain the festive season feeling, but make it more appropriate for the adult guests attending.

"You know, when I was a little kid and I was growing up, they'd always have a Santa Claus guy show up and take everybody's wishes or what they wanted for Christmas. I'm not gonna do that, but there'll definitely be lots of Christmas-themed things," she promised.

Even though Taylor will be legally allowed to drink in bars across America this December, she isnt planning to consume too much alcohol on her big night. She prefers to stay in control and doesnt like the feeling of being drunk. (C) Cover Media
