Akshay Kumar's teaser of his next 'Gold' is all about 'One Man's Dream' and how he achieves it. The teaser opens with a text slate asking everyone to stand up for National Anthem followed by a visual of British Flag, with a question, "How do you feel?"
And here we see Akshay removing Indian flag from his pocket with an aim in his mind. Teaser then is full of fast running visuals right from him playing a hockey match to his personal life to his aim being achieved of the invaders standing up for the Indian National Anthem.
Unveiling the teaser and thanking all his colleagues Akki tweeted, "Thank you everyone for all the love and support pouring in for the special unit of #Gold...sharing it here, on popular demand :) It's time to #StandUpForGold https://youtu.be/KEAARjI-G-E @excelmovies @FarOutAkhtar @ritesh_sid @Roymouni @kagtireema."
'Gold' revolves around Bengali hockey player's life and his struggle to get India to represent independently at World Cup.
Rumours also had it that the movie is a biopic on former hockey player Balbir Singh Sr. but producer Ritesh Sidhwani cleared the mess by saying, "It is not a biopic. It is a completely fictional story but it is set against a real backdrop between 1933-48 India about what the country was, the sports... About hockey. It is not based on any character."
This directorial venture of Reema Kagti will mark Bollywood debut of TV actress Mouni Roy and will release on August 15, 2018.
