Without an iota of doubt Reese Whitherspoon, has the best engagement ring in Hollywood this year. It seems her fianc, Jim Toth, an agent of Creative Artists Agency, wanted to make this engagement the most talked about engagement of the year. The couple had been dating since February 2010 and they announced their engagement on December 28th 2010. The 4 carat Ashoka cut diamond set on a diamond studded platinum band is estimated to have cost Toth a whopping $1.5 million. Toth had this ring custom-made for his Legally Blond bride-to-be from William Goldberg Diamond Corp. William Goldberg, the man himself, had crafted this unique ring for Witherspoon. According to reports, Toth was completely floored by the 62 displayed facets and rounded corners of this vintage Ashoka cut diamond.
Hillary Duffs fianc, Mike Comrie the hockey player, sure knew how to please a woman. Their engagement ring, estimated of being around $1 million, is of 10-12 carat radiant cut. And its huge. Comrie had earlier gifted Duff a Mercedes Benz G-class SUV for her 20th birthday. So this engagement ring didnt come as a surprise to Duff, we guess.
Jessica Simpson has done what very few women do; she went and bought her own engagement ring. This 4 carat ruby engagement ring has cost the star $100,000. The Eddie Cibrain and LeAnn Rimes engagement was definitely the talk of the town as it also made it to the list of the best Hollywood scandals. This 10 carat diamond ring has four diamond studded bands and one huge circular diamond in the centre. It might not be a first for Lozada, who is also the ex-fiance of Antonie Walker, the NBA star.
