(Cover) - EN Star Style - Tobey Maguire has been named the face of Prada menswear's Autumn/Winter advertising campaign.

The 35-year-old actor, who is best known for his role as Spider-Man in the popular superhero franchise, appears in the advertisement photos looking sultry in slim sweaters, turtlenecks and a three-button jacket.

The campaign was shot by David Sims in New York and is the first fashion venture for the Hollywood star.

"His mood is transfixed and pensive, full of vibrant intensity and mystery," said designer Miuccia Prada of the images.

Tobey is "thrilled" to be part of the luxury brand's new line. The star has revealed he views fashion in the same vein as acting.

"A great supporter of the arts, Miuccia Prada has inspired a culture of creativity that is woven through every aspect of her company, from her collections and campaigns to every design detail in her stores" he said. "I have such admiration for her artistry and I'm thrilled to be a part of Prada's fall campaign."

Tobey will next be seen in a Baz Luhrmann's highly-anticipated screen adaptation of The Great Gatsby. (C) Cover Media
