Trisha Krishnan's love for animals needs no introduction. Recently, the actress made her presence felt at an event organized by Blue Cross for the adoption of pets.

After attending the event, the actress wanted to encourage more to adopt pets and hence, she posted on her micro blogging page some phone numbers and email ids, asking people to contact the numbers if they wanted to adopt neglected animals.

Within no time Trisha did so, the phone numbers were flooded with calls from all over the world. Many were in the false hope that those were Trisha's numbers.

Clearing the air soon, Trisha tweeted, "N guys, d nos n emails I post for animal adoptions r not mine. They belong to friends and volunteers. So pls do not call unless ur genuinely interested in the animal n the animal only. thank u".

Let us hope there are no misunderstandings anymore regarding the numbers...
