Twilight shoot knocked by weather

3rd March 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cast and crew involved in the latest Twilight movie are reportedly finding it hell to shoot scenes because of bad weather.

Stars including Robert Pattinson, who plays brooding vampire Edward Cullen, and Kristen Stewart, who plays schoolgirl Bella Swan, arrived in Canada last week to begin work on Breaking Dawn, the latest instalment of the popular franchise. Although shooting was due to commence in Vancouver, the area has been hit by heavy snow and plunging temperatures. It has been reported the schedule is being delayed because of the difficult working conditions.

We're told from sources up north the weather has been making it hell on the cast and crew as they try to stick to their rigorous filming schedule, reports E! Online.

The entertainment website has also claimed the hold-up in filming could have a knock on effect for other movies the cast are involved with. Many of the stars are spending more time than planned in Canada in order to finish the scenes, meaning they may have to delay committing to other projects.

Scheduling has been altered to accommodate the weather, so the cast has pretty much been hanging tight in Vancouver, having to be flexible with their schedules, adds E! Online.

Even though the conditions are proving difficult in Canada, loved-up couple Robert and Kristen took a break from work last weekend. The pair escaped the snow and were seen having fun in Los Angeles as they went to a party and enjoyed a shopping trip. (C) Cover Media
