Finally, producer R Ganesh of VTV Productions has decided to release his upcoming film 'Vaanam' on February 3 for the occasion of Silambarasan's birthday. Earlier plans were to release film on January 14 for Pongal, but that was postponed to Valentines Day on the spur of moment. But now as the birthday of Silambarasan's birthday falls on December 3, it's more relevant for him to release the film on the same occasion.

As known earlier 'Vaanam' is a remake of yesteryear Telugu movie 'Vedam'. The remake version stars Silambarasan, Bharath, Prakash Raj, Anushka, Sneha Ullal, Sonia Agarwal and others in lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja's single track album was released during last month that is doing good business in audio stores. The complete album will be hitting audio stores by mid of January. .
