(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Vanessa Hudgens has revealed its easy to fall for bad guys.

The actress is currently starring in movie Beastly alongside Alex Pettyfer. In the film Vanessas character, Lindy, is an un-cool high school student who develops an attraction to bad boy character Kyle, who is played by Alex.

The 22-year-old beauty understands why her character falls for Kyle, as many girls do find brooding guys attractive.

"I feel like a lot of girls think it's easier to go under the radar, to not really stand up and let their true selves be known," she explained to MTV. "And I feel like when that happens, a lot of girls look up to guys who embody that, who are just truly out there and, of course, my character falls for that, as a lot of other girls would.

Vanessa says that while the "opposites attract" idea initially draws Lindy to the school's most popular guy, the deeper reason behind falling for him is that she realises Kyle has a softer side. The stunning brunette says that falling in love with someone for who they really are, and putting aside their looks, is the most important part of being in a relationship.

"Slowly, she falls in love with him, not for his appearance, which I think is the most beautiful part of it," she said.

Vanessa has been single since splitting from her long-term boyfriend Zac Efron in December last year. She was seen looking very cute with actor Josh Hutcherson at a party in Los Angeles last week, sparking romance rumours. (C) Cover Media
