Produced by Vishal's elder brother Vikram Krishna on G K Film Corporation banner, ‘Vedi’ is a remake of the Tollywood hit ‘Souryam’.

Recently speaking about the film, Vishal said, “Actually, we’d bought the remake rights for ‘Souryam’ more than a year ago and now, post filming for it under Prabhudeva, I’m more than happy with the way it has shaped up.”

After ‘Sandakozhi’, Vishal says that he will be seen in an angry young man role. “After shocking the audience with ‘Avan Ivan’, I deliberately chose this script, which is a wholesome family entertainer. The movie, which is scheduled for a September 29th release, will be a visual treat,” the actor stated confidently.

Let’s hope the film proves its mettle at the box-office. We wish Vishal all the luck with ‘Vedi’.
