Venkatesh, who is currently busy shooting for Ganga the Bodyguard, is all praises for Bollywood star Salman Khan, who had played the lead role in the Hindi version of the film, titled Bodyguard.

Originally made in Malayalam as Bodyguard, the film was later remade in Tamil as Kaavalan with Vijay and Asin playing the lead roles. Recently its Hindi version hit the screens and accomplished great success.

Venky, who watched the Hindi movie, stated, "I have seen Salman's Bodyguard and I think Salman has done a fantastic job. I would like to congratulate him for the huge success of the film."

The Hindi flick was released in Andhra Pradesh too, when asked whether Sallu’s film will have an effect on the Telugu remake; the Tollywood top star said , "I doubt the success of Salman’s Bodyguard will affect the prospects of the Telugu remake at the Box Office. Though we have taken the basic concept from the original movie in Malayalam, we have incorporated a lot of changes into the script."
