Victoria Beckham has gushed about how proud she is of her "handsome" husband David.

The glamorous couple attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party last night and the designer couldn't hide her glee at appearing on the arm of the hunky soccer star.

The style icon revealed that David's dapper suit was created by high fashion house Christian Dior after tweeting about her own gown earlier in the day.

"David looking so handsome last night in Dior x vb (sic)," she wrote on her profile.

Hours before, Victoria had shared her party preparations with her followers.

The mother-of-four tweeted a picture of herself getting ready for the glitzy Vanity Fair bash.

Taken by someone standing behind her, the photo showed Victoria posing in her bathroom while showing off her slim silhouette.

The 37-year-old added that the stone coloured gown she opted for is her current favourite from her latest collection.

"Getting ready for Vanity Fair Oscar party x vb," she wrote, before adding later in the night, "So much fun at Oscar party! Wearing my favourite evening dress from my new AW collection x vb (sic)."

Victoria also kept her fans informed whose red carpet style she would be watching on the night.

"Happy Oscar day! Excited to see what Rooney Mara and Michelle Williams will wear," she wrote.
