There has been huge hulabaloo over Madhur Bhandarkar's next film after his ongoing film 'Heroine'. It was said that Madhur was planning to come up with a sequel to his hit film 'Fashion' and was scouting for a leading lady for the same. However it is now learnt that Madhur isn't working on the idea of coming up with 'Fashion 2', instead he is apparently interested in churning out a political thriller with a female lead. 

The film will be set up in the political background of North India where the story has the female protagonist in lead. The story is about a common girl rising to power to become a successful, strong and bold politician of the era. And for this coveted powerful role he has two names in mind. First is that of Vidya Balan who has impressed the world with variety of performances in her recent films like 'No one killed Jessica', 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani'. And the other name is that of Priyanka Chopra with whom he worked in 'Fashion' which got her the national award. Both being critically and commercially successful actresses are front runners in bagging the role would vie to bag this coveted and promising offer.

It remains to be seen who finally amongst these two national award winners succeeds in bagging the offer.
