The 37-year-old fitness hunk Vidyut Jammwal and the 'Kaalakaandi' actor Akshay Oberoi will feature together in an action flick. Vidyut Jammwal, who is known for 'Commando' franchise and Akshay Oberoi, who was previously seen in 'Gurgaon' will be working together in for the first time in 'Junglee'.
It is about a man and his relationship with animals and is being directed by Hollywood director Chuck Russel who is popular for genre films such as 'The Mask' (1994) and 'The Scorpion King' (2002). The movie is being shot in Thailand and Vidyut is already there shooting for the film.
Talking about the development, a source said, "Akshay flew off to Thailand for the shoot, after attending the 'Kaalakaandi' event. He will play the prime antagonist who will be up against Vidyut in the film." Looks like the two heroes are set to entertain the audiences and totally dedicated to getting in the skin of their on-screen character. Let's see how it goes.
Directed by Chuck Russell, the film also features Makrand Deshpande in a supporting role. The film went on floors and is slated to release in late 2018.
