Following the huge success of 'Kalavani', filmmaker Sargunam was supposed to direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay, in a movie that was featured him in the role of a police officer. Since the actor is busy shooting other projects, he wasn't able to give his call sheet. Apparently, the director has now signed his pal Vimal, for a semi-period movie titled 'Vaagai Chooda Vaa'. The film is set in the backdrop of 1960, and has Vimal playing the role of a school teacher. Sargunam affirms that it's a full length entertainer with more comedy, just as it was in 'Kalavani'. Is it too early for a filmmaker to handle a period film script? Maybe, but Sargunam says that he was supposed to make this movie much prior to 'Kalavani', but it didn't happen due to some reasons.
