Vivek Oberoi is happy to play a negative role

It seems that like the golden retro era of Bollywood, the rage and the trend of powerful villains on screens are back with full swing. With audiences appreciating villains equally it proves that the filmmaker’s bet on playing cards on the baddies aren’t in a loss. From the villainous character of Prakash Raj in "Singham", to Arjun Rampal in "Ra.One" and the hunky villain in "Force", the deadliest villains are back on screen. The latest to add to the list is Sanjay Dutt who is gaining accolades for his villainous look in "Agneepath".

And it seems that Vivek Oberoi is too inspired by this trend and is claiming higher. The actor who will don an antagonist’s avatar opposite Hrithik Roshan in the super hero film "Krrish 3" says that he wants to be Bollywood’s first ever super hero villain. “When they called me and made me read the script, I read the role and was blown off. I want to play it right and it is all the hard work and effort that is paying off. I wanted to bring to life India's first super-villain, it was good fun,” said Vivek. He also appreciated the fact that even Hrithik has proved to be a great motivation for him.

“When you get that kind of encouragement from your co-star, from somebody who is doing so well, it's great atmosphere on the set. There is no insecurity, no negativity. It's a great set to be on,” added Vivek.
