VP of India watches Uri with Indo-Tibetan border forces

After the Prime Minister and the Defence Minister of India watched this Yami Gautam and Vicky Kaushal starrer military drama 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and hailed it even mentioning How's the Josh? a strong dialogue from the film.

It is now the Vice President of India, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu who recently watched this feature film along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police forces and found it absolutely inspiring. Sharing a still from the screening of the film Naidu wrote, "Happy to have watched the movie 'Uri-Surgical Strikes' today along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police Personnel who guard the Vice President's Residence in New Delhi. It was an inspiring movie. I congratulate the cast & crew of #Urimovie for showcasing the valour of #IndianArmy."

Uri: The Surgical Strike is based on the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian army in 2016. Directed by Aditya Dhar, produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina in key roles.

Speaking about the success of the film Vicky said, "Till the film is released, you don't have an idea if it is going to work. But since yesterday, the kind of reaction we have received is really overwhelming. It's a surreal feeling that the audience has accepted our film with open arms."
